I already own an iphone but I want to use different network sim cards in it, can this be done? The answer to this question is yes but it depends on what iphone you own because the method for unlocking the iphone is different depending on which version of the iphone you own.,How can it be done? How is the unlock done? There are 3 methods to unlock an iphone depending on what version you have. The first method is a software unlock which again depending on the version. The second is a piece of hardware that sits in the sim card tray and the last is called testpoint this is a very difficult unlock that requires opening the phone exposing the circuit board, connecting adapters and over riding the unlock using a specialist software program. The first two methods depending on your IT skills and the quality of the training guide you get can be done yourself but the test point method is strictly for experienced unlock professionals

I don’t really get this. He already blended his I phone, why would he blend it again. Good thing he “accidently” blended his g3 one otherwise he would have blended the same one twice. But anyway, if the old iphone blended, i’m sure the 3g would have aswell. xD That blender is awesome.

@17Manning Yea I mean some dumbass decided to build the Android OS off an altered Linux kernel so we wouldn’t have to hack it if we wanted to play our own apps. Why buy that when we can just buy an iPhone where we can spend an hour hacking it which runs a risk of rendering it completely unusable? Oh yea, Android sucks big time. >.>

@pmpspot Tell me something, how was the samsung doing before the iphone? Okay. But when apple released the iphone, a lot of other phone companies lost buyers to it. I own a 3GS and it cost me a lot less than the original 600 bucks because I bought it new from a special price from vodafone. I only bought it because I felt i needed a different phone and went for the iphone, I am very happy but would never buy it for its original unlocked price, it’s as stupid as it gets
